Recall-ready from the receiving dock to the clinic.

Prismware runs Business Central and Dynamics 365 for medical and dental device distributors. Every unit carries its lot, serial, and expiry, reps quote from live stock, and every country you ship from runs in one system, on the scanners and devices Prismware supplies.

What a device distributor answers for.

A recall notice. Which lots, which clinics, and what's still on your shelf, answered from one record.

An inspection or principal audit. Distribution records, complaints, and returns, pulled on demand.

Short-dated stock. First-expired-first-out picking moves product before it becomes a write-off.

Demo and loaner units. Equipment out at clinics, tracked to the serial number and the rep who placed it.

A recall, start to finish, in Business Central.

Reps who sell from live data, and know where every demo unit is.

Field reps carry a Prismware-built mobile app connected to Dynamics 365 Sales and Business Central. Reps see real stock and real pricing, place orders on site, and log every visit, and the office sees the pipeline as it happens.

Demo and loaner units are tracked by serial number, with the clinic holding each one, the rep who placed it, and the date it comes back.

True margin on every unit, in every country you ship from.

Purchases post in the manufacturer's currency, and freight, duties, and brokerage carry onto the items they apply to, so margin reflects what each unit actually cost.

Each country runs its own inventory, currency, tax, and carrier accounts, all rolling up to consolidated financials. Shipping labels print from the order at your negotiated carrier rates, and commercial invoices and customs documents generate with the shipment.

The warehouse, equipped.

Prismware supplies and configures the hardware: Honeywell handheld scanners, label printers, and the PCs and tablets your team works on. Receiving, putaway, picking, and cycle counts run on scanners that write straight into Business Central.

Service and returns, tied to the serial number.

RMAs, repairs, and warranty claims run against the serial number and the clinic that owns the unit, so your team sees the full service history before it picks up the phone. Returned units go back to stock, to repair, or to the manufacturer with the record intact.

Agents that handle the follow-up.

Prismware configures Copilot and Business Central agents that process incoming purchase orders, chase late vendor confirmations, flag stock approaching expiry, and draft replies to routine customer inquiries. Your team reviews and approves, and the agents handle the volume.

Straight answers.

We run QuickBooks, Sage, or an older Dynamics system. What does moving look like?

Prismware migrates your items, lots, serial numbers, open orders, and customer history into Business Central, and plans the cutover around your shipping calendar so orders keep moving. Your team trains on its own data before go-live.

Does Business Central support lot and serial tracking with expiry dates for medical devices?

Yes. Business Central tracks lot, serial, and expiry on every transaction, enforces first-expired-first-out picking, and traces any lot forward to customers and backward to the supplier.

Can we produce sell-through reports for each manufacturer we represent?

Yes. Sales, stock, and returns report by manufacturer, territory, and customer from Business Central and Power BI, in the format each principal asks for.

Can one Business Central environment handle distribution in multiple countries?

Yes. Prismware sets up separate companies or locations per country, each with its own currency, tax, and carrier accounts, all reporting into consolidated financials.

Do we deal with one company for software, devices, and licensing?

Yes. Prismware supplies the Microsoft licenses, the scanners, printers, and PCs, and the Business Central and Dynamics 365 work, and supports all of it after go-live.

What size distributors does Prismware work with?

Distributors with 10 or more people, from single-warehouse operations to multi-country networks.
