Full users enter transactions every day: finance, purchasing, sales, warehouse and production staff.
Team Members approve, look up records, update their own data and enter time. Managers and executives usually belong here.
Device licenses cover shared stations such as warehouse scanners and shop-floor terminals used by several people across shifts.
Full users in one Business Central environment run on the same tier, so a manufacturing requirement moves every full user to Premium.

Finance, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Human Resources and Project Operations are licensed as separate apps, and so are Sales, Customer Service and Field Service. A user's first app is a base license; every additional app is an attach license at a lower price. Team Members and activity licenses cover lighter roles.
Finance & Operations carries a minimum license commitment, and every app includes database and file storage that grows with your license count.

How many environments come with Business Central?
Business Central online subscriptions include one production environment and sandbox environments for testing. Additional environments and storage are available as add-ons.
Does our external accountant need a paid license?
Yes. Business Central includes accountant access for your external accounting firm at no additional license cost.
Do we have to commit annually?
Annual commitments carry Microsoft's standard price. Monthly-commitment terms are available on many products at a higher rate, and Prismware quotes both.
Can we move existing licenses to Prismware?
Yes. Licenses move to Prismware as your Cloud Solution Provider without any change to your environment or data.
