The problem

A specialty products manufacturer, operating alongside related businesses, was weighing a move to Business Central. Before committing, leadership wanted to know exactly how the system fits its factory operations, what it costs, and how the move is phased.

What we did

Prismware ran an on-site assessment, including time on the factory floor, and mapped the company's operations to Business Central. A fit-gap analysis separated what standard Business Central covers from what needs configuration or extensions. The team designed the integration points for production, payroll and IoT, with a Power BI reporting framework on top.

The result

5 days
On-site assessment, including the factory floor
Group-wide
Related businesses assessed together
5 phases
Roadmap: finance, inventory, manufacturing, HR, analytics

Leadership received a complete needs and migration assessment: a solution blueprint, a phased roadmap with milestones, license and cost estimates, a data migration strategy, a training and adoption plan, a risk plan and a final recommendation. A live demo and implementation quotes followed, so the decision was made on facts, not assumptions.
