What a Business Central implementation costs.
A Business Central project has two costs: Microsoft licensing at $80 per user per month for Essentials or $110 for Premium, and the implementation itself, which is set by your scope, your data and your integrations. Prismware quotes both together, along with the devices your team works on.

What sets the implementation price.
Processes in scope. Finance and distribution is a smaller project than finance, distribution, manufacturing and service. Every module that goes live adds configuration, testing and training.
Data migration. Open balances, items, customers and vendors are standard. Years of transaction history, lot and serial records, and messy item masters add time.
Integrations. Ecommerce, EDI, shipping carriers, payroll and CRM each connect to Business Central, and each connection is priced on its own.
Entities and countries. Every additional company, currency and tax setup adds configuration and consolidation work.
Warehouse and devices. Barcode scanning, label printing and mobile warehouse workflows add hardware and setup, and Prismware supplies and configures both.
Essentials or Premium: the decision that sets your license bill.
Distributors, wholesalers and service firms run on Essentials. Manufacturers that need production orders, routings and MRP run on Premium, and so does any company that manages service contracts and service orders inside the ERP.
Users who only approve, enter time or look up records take a Team Members license, which keeps the per-user bill in line with how people actually work.
How Prismware prices the project.
Prismware scopes your processes, data and integrations first, then quotes the implementation as a fixed scope with licensing, hardware and support on the same proposal. One partner owns the licenses, the devices and the go-live.
Projects that need to spread the cost run on Prismware financing, so the implementation is paid monthly alongside the subscription.
Business Central cost questions.
How much does Business Central cost per user?
Microsoft lists Business Central Essentials at $80 per user per month and Premium at $110, paid yearly, with Team Members at $8 for light users. Prismware quotes current pricing for your country and user mix.
Can we mix Essentials and Premium users?
No. Full users in an environment run on the same tier, so a manufacturing requirement moves every full user to Premium. Team Members licenses work alongside either tier.
What costs come after go-live?
The monthly subscription, any add-on apps, and ongoing support. Microsoft updates Business Central twice a year, and Prismware tests your extensions and integrations against each release.
Is hosting included?
Yes. Business Central online runs in Microsoft's cloud, and the subscription includes a production environment and sandbox environments for testing.
Can the implementation be financed?
Yes. Prismware finances ERP implementations so the project is paid monthly. Apply on the financing page.
