How the move runs.
Assess. Every server, application, dependency and license is inventoried with Azure Migrate and sized for the cloud.
Plan. Each workload gets a destination, a monthly cost and a cutover window outside your business hours.
Move. Servers replicate to Azure, users test, and cutover happens in one planned window per system.
Run. Prismware manages backup, security, patching and cost control on Azure every month.
When to move.
Server hardware refreshes, end-of-support Windows Server and SQL versions, and ERP upgrades are the natural moments to move. Business Central and Dynamics 365 already run in Microsoft's cloud, so retiring the ERP server is often the first step, and the rest of the server room follows.
